The Swiss Innovation Challenge will start for the eighth time this year on the 11th of April. Applications are now open for any SMEs and startups from all over Switzerland, and will be open until the 28th of March! This innovation promotion program consists of a challenging competition where 25 finalists and one award winner are selected from over 100 innovation projects in three elimination rounds.
Who can participate?
If you are an SME or a startup located in Switzerland with an innovative project, you could be the one! The projects can be product, organisational, management, process, service, or business model innovations. Regardless of whether you are a startup, an established company, a non-profit organisation, or a public administration, the Swiss Innovation Challenge can help you carry out your innovation project.
Why should you participate?
In addition to the extensive support during the whole competition (up to 6 coaching sessions, 13 seminars, comprehensive marketing and PR measures, and networking events…), you have the chance to win the prize money and services worth CHF 64 000!
Moreover, there are two special prizes in the «Life Sciences» and «Construction» domains.

MYLEG was the winner of the Life Science prize, and we were very happy to see how dedicated they are to their project. MYLEG is developing a non-invasive method to improve mobility and promote cognitive prosthesis integration in people with leg amputation.
This competition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Baselland, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), and the Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB).
