December 3rd is the international day of people with disabilities. Therefore, on this day, we’d like to raise awareness on the dignity and well-being of persons with disabilities while fostering a deeper understanding of the topic.
The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland, proclaimed June 1 to be International Children’s Day in 1925. Currently is being celebrated on November 20 to commemorate the Declaration of Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly. At HEMEX, we have decided this year to start early discussions about children’s rights and well-being.
During the whole month of March, and in concrete today, you will find several discourses about empowering women and celebrating their social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. At HEMEX, we believe celebrating women is great, but we’re want to step forward and choose to challenge ourselves by smashing stereotypes and challenging gender bias.
